What is CVE-2026-111916?

Admidio versions prior to 5.0.16 have an information disclosure flaw due to the omission of the category_view role-visibility filter in the rss/links.php file. This vulnerability enables unauthenticated attackers to access role-restricted web links. Attackers can exploit this weakness by fetching the weblinks RSS feed, obtaining sensitive details such as link names, URLs, descriptions, categories, and creator information from restricted categories, potentially leading to unauthorized access to confidential information.
