What is CVE-2026-112282?

The libbluray library from VideoLAN contains an out-of-bounds read vulnerability in the clpi_access_point() function. This flaw allows attackers to potentially crash applications by providing a specially crafted ClipInfo file. By placing a malicious .clpi file in the BDMV/CLIPINF directory, where the num_ep_fine parameter is set to zero and referencing an unclamped ref_ep_fine_id, an attacker can trigger problematic reads during the seeking phase, leading to a denial of service condition.

Affected Version(s)
