What is CVE-2026-112309?

The @rvf/set-get library prior to version 7.0.4 is vulnerable to a prototype pollution attack through the setPath function. This allows malicious actors to overwrite properties of built-in functions using methods from the inherited Object.prototype. As a result, an attacker can submit a form field named 'hasOwnProperty.call' via the @rvf/core form parsing. This manipulation can lead to a denial of service across the entire process, necessitating a restart to restore functionality. Users are strongly advised to upgrade to the latest version to mitigate this vulnerability.

Affected Version(s)
