What is CVE-2026-112769?

Parse Server versions prior to 8.6.98 and those in the 9.0.0 series before 9.10.3-alpha.1 are susceptible to a vulnerability that inadequately enforces permissions for the _Session class. Authenticated users, as well as anyone with access to a valid session token, can exploit this vulnerability by sending POST requests to /sessions or /classes/_Session. This can lead to the creation of additional sessions that are not invalidated even if the original session is terminated, allowing unauthorized access and manipulation of session data.

Affected Version(s)

parse-server 9.0.0 < 9.10.3-alpha.1

parse-server 0 < 8.6.98

parse-server 9.10.3-alpha.1
