What is CVE-2026-11319?

The TickTick Android application version 8.2.2.0 is susceptible to a path traversal vulnerability in its exported ShareReceiveActivity. This flaw allows a malicious local application to craft a content:// URI containing traversal sequences that can manipulate file paths. By sending carefully constructed ACTION_SEND intents, an attacker can exploit this vulnerability, causing the application to write files to unauthorized locations on the device. The vulnerability arises from the unsanitized handling of the _display_name value returned by a compromised ContentProvider, allowing attackers to leverage TickTick's privileges for malicious file manipulations.

Affected Version(s)

TickTick for Android 8.2.2.0

Exploit Proof of Concept (PoC)

PoC code is written by security researchers to demonstrate the vulnerability can be exploited. PoC code is also a key component for weaponization which could lead to ransomware.
