What is CVE-2026-113356?

DokuWiki versions prior to 2026-07-14c are susceptible to a PHP object injection vulnerability within the Draft::getDraftText() method. This issue arises due to the lack of restrictions on allowed classes when passing draft file contents to the unserialize() function. Authenticated users with edit rights can exploit this vulnerability by executing concurrent draft rewrites, effectively splicing serialized data. This manipulation can lead to the instantiation of potentially dangerous classes such as MemoryIndex or Installer, which may allow for unauthorized file writing, deletion, and the execution of arbitrary code.

Affected Version(s)

DokuWiki 0 < 2026-07-14c

Exploit Proof of Concept (PoC)

PoC code is written by security researchers to demonstrate the vulnerability can be exploited. PoC code is also a key component for weaponization which could lead to ransomware.
