What is CVE-2026-113393?
A vulnerability exists in the DrayTek Vigor2960 router that allows attackers to exploit the file processing system in /cgi-bin/mainfunction.cgi of the commonupload component. By manipulating the parameters upload_path and upload_name, an attacker may perform an unrestricted upload of malicious files, potentially leading to severe consequences if exploited. This vulnerability affects versions that are no longer supported by DrayTek. Users are strongly advised to upgrade to version 1.5.1.7, which addresses numerous security concerns, including this one. However, it's important to note that the Vigor2960 is at its end-of-support (EoS) stage, meaning ongoing support will only cover critical issues.
Affected Version(s)
Vigor2960 1.5.1.6 Revision 8218
Vigor2960 1.5.1.7
Exploit Proof of Concept (PoC)
