What is CVE-2026-114052?

A memory exhaustion vulnerability affects versions of vLLM between 0.25.0 and 0.30.0. This issue arises in the MOSS-Audio model serving due to the unbounded caching mechanism employed for processing requests with distinct mm_processor_kwargs values. Unauthenticated attackers are able to exploit this vulnerability by sending uniquely structured or excessively large mel_config values to the /tokenize endpoint. This results in bypassing security measures, such as the --api-key requirement, allowing attackers to exhaust the host's memory resources and potentially crash the API process.

Affected Version(s)

vllm 0.25.0 < 0.31.0

vllm 0.31.0
