What is CVE-2026-114120?

SchedulePress versions prior to 5.3.5 exhibit a vulnerability that allows authenticated Contributor-level users to manipulate the status and publication date of any post through the wpsp_el_editor_form AJAX action. This issue arises from improper authorization checks, enabling potential attackers to utilize the wpsp-el-editor nonce from the Elementor modal. Consequently, unauthorized users may unpublish or reschedule posts created by administrators or publish pending and draft posts belonging to other users, posing a significant risk to the integrity of content management on affected WordPress sites.
