PathResourceManager Vulnerability in Undertow Web Server
CVE-2026-114370
3.7LOW
What is CVE-2026-114370?
A security flaw in the PathResourceManager component of the Undertow web server allows unauthorized file access. This issue arises from an inadequate verification process for symbolic links, which only checks if the target path begins with a specific substring. Consequently, attackers may exploit this error to access sensitive files positioned in sibling directories, provided the directory name matches the starting characters of an authorized safe directory. This poses a significant risk of unintended information exposure.
