What is CVE-2026-11451?

A vulnerability has been discovered in the GL.iNet GL-MT3000 product specifically affecting version 4.4.5. This flaw lies in the function snprintf used within the FTP Protocol Handler located in /cgi-bin/glc. An attacker could manipulate the media_dir argument to execute arbitrary commands remotely. The exploit relies on closing single quotes, appending additional commands, and commenting out with '#', but these payloads do not trigger actual command execution due to enhancements introduced in version 4.8.1, where single quotes are properly escaped. Users are advised to upgrade to version 4.8.1 or later to mitigate this issue.
