What is CVE-2026-114638?

Traefik versions prior to v3.7.14 exhibit an improper authentication vulnerability within the Kubernetes Ingress NGINX provider. This flaw arises from the merging of client certificates when the names of auth-tls-secrets collide after normalization. As a result, attackers may misappropriate certificates from different hosts, undermining the security of intended users. Legitimate clients may be unjustly denied access, allowing unauthorized parties access to resources designed to be protected.
