What is CVE-2026-114720?

Roundcube Webmail prior to version 1.6.20 and the 1.7.x series prior to 1.7.5 is susceptible to an IMAP command injection. This vulnerability allows a remote authenticated attacker to exploit the application using CRLF sequences injected into the _flag parameter during the mail/mark action. By doing so, the attacker can execute arbitrary IMAP commands. The vulnerability was addressed in the upstream commit that restricts flags by rejecting those containing control characters, whitespace, or special IMAP symbols.
