What is CVE-2026-115382?

A denial-of-service vulnerability exists in the WASI HTTP implementation of Wasmtime, specifically in versions prior to 48.0.4 and 49.0.2. This issue arises when guests specify a zero between-bytes-timeout request option, resulting in a direct call to a Tokio API that panics. As a result, this leads to the crashing of the host embedding, causing service interruptions.
