What is CVE-2026-115886?

MLflow, an open-source AI engineering platform, is vulnerable due to a deserialization flaw in certain API endpoints that handles third-party scorer data. Specifically, versions from 3.12.0rc0 to 3.17.0 allow unauthenticated POST requests to invoke MLflow's scoring capabilities. An attacker can exploit this vulnerability by supplying malicious serialized data utilizing the optional trulens and trulens-providers-litellm packages, leading the server to execute requests with manipulated API parameters. This flaw enables an attacker to send requests to any chosen host, potentially resulting in unauthorized data exposure. The issue is resolved in version 3.17.0, emphasizing the importance of keeping software up to date.
