What is CVE-2026-116008?

DaybydayCRM up to version 2.2.1 is exposed to a vulnerability that enables any authenticated user to reassign projects without appropriate permissions. This occurs in the ProjectsController, specifically in the updateAssign function, where low-privileged employees can manipulate project ownership by sending unauthorized PATCH or POST requests to the update endpoint. By specifying a different user ID, these users can hijack project notifications and control, which poses significant risks to project integrity and confidentiality.

Affected Version(s)
