What is CVE-2026-116011?

The Crow Web Framework, prior to version 1.3.4, is susceptible to an uncontrolled recursion vulnerability within the crow::json::load() function. This flaw enables remote, unauthenticated attackers to send requests containing deeply nested JSON structures. By doing so, attackers can exhaust the worker thread stack, ultimately leading to server crashes. This vulnerability can significantly disrupt service availability by terminating processes and severing all active connections, thus posing a security risk for applications reliant on the Crow framework.
