What is CVE-2026-116173?

vLLM versions prior to 0.24.0 are susceptible to a denial of service vulnerability that can be exploited by remote attackers. By sending Generate or GenerateStream requests with the output_logprobs enabled and exceeding the limit of 128 output_candidates.token_ids, attackers can provoke a fatal sampler exception.
