What is CVE-2026-116176?

The vLLM project versions prior to 0.24.0 are susceptible to a server-side request forgery (SSRF) vulnerability. This flaw enables API users to execute outbound network connections by inserting a malicious decode address into the X-Request-Id header. This manipulation allows attackers to exploit the P2pNcclConnector component to connect to an attacker-controlled host, potentially exposing sensitive information such as NCCL unique identifiers and KV-cache tensors, or even leading to undesired blocking of the worker processes.
