What is CVE-2026-116197?

Edgeless Systems Contrast versions 1.21.0 through 1.25.0 contain a vulnerability in the imagepuller component, which may allow registry configurations to unintentionally prefer wildcard entries over specific domain entries. As a result, registry credentials, CA bundles, or mirror settings associated with the wildcard could be inappropriately applied to a concrete registry. This flawed selection process poses a risk, as it may lead to unauthorized exposure of sensitive credentials or pull metadata intended solely for the wildcard configuration.
