What is CVE-2026-116790?

FreeSWITCH, a Software Defined Telecom Stack, has a vulnerability in its ICE handling mechanism prior to version 1.11.2. This flaw allows an attacker to manipulate ICE connectivity checks without proper authentication. By exploiting this vulnerability, an adversary could redirect RTP and DTLS traffic, which might lead to unauthorized access to media streams, eavesdropping, or even media insertion. The risk extends to WebRTC and SIP sessions negotiating ICE. Update to version 1.11.2, which includes a fix that enforces cryptographic validation of STUN MESSAGE-INTEGRITY attributes.

Affected Version(s)
