Semantic MediaWiki versions prior to 7.3.1 contain a vulnerability that permits authenticated users, specifically profile or schema editors, to exploit stored cross-site scripting through the FacetedSearch exploration-link labels. This vulnerability allows attackers to inject HTML markup into the label, which is subsequently processed and rendered as unescaped content in the Special:FacetedSearch page, leading to potential script execution in the browsers of users viewing the compromised page.
