What is CVE-2026-116897?

An authorization issue exists in the REDAXO core prior to version 5.21.4, specifically affecting the structure/version and structure/history frontend preview modes. This vulnerability allows any backend user, or anyone with history[article_rollback] permissions, to bypass category or clang permissions. Consequently, they can manipulate rex_version or rex_history_date with arbitrary article_ids, providing unauthorized access to view unpublished working versions and even deleted or historic content.
