What is CVE-2026-118039?

An XML external entity reference vulnerability has been identified in the Telerik Document Processing Libraries prior to version 2026.3.1027. This issue allows an unauthenticated attacker to exploit the SVG image processing functionality to gain unauthorized access to local files on the server. The vulnerability arises when a malicious SVG image, specifically containing a nested embedded SVG, is processed or exported to PDF. Attackers can craft such images to read sensitive information from the server, posing a significant risk to application and data security.
