What is CVE-2026-118253?

A vulnerability in Highcharts JS allows an attacker controlling language options in Dashboards to exploit the edit mode. When the fullscreen control is activated, input labels are processed as HTML, permitting the execution of malicious scripts via event handlers within the host page. This exposure is present in versions from 1.0.0 up to 4.2.3, with a fix implemented in version 4.2.3.
