What is CVE-2026-119286?

The GraphQL-core library, a Python implementation of GraphQL.js, suffers from a memory exhaustion vulnerability due to the misuse of a module-level ValidationAbortedError. In versions 3.3.0a3 through 3.3.1, the validate() function allows an unauthenticated client to submit small documents with more than 100 validation errors repeatedly. This results in unbounded memory growth before query execution, leading to potential exhaustion of worker memory. This issue has been addressed in version 3.3.1.

Affected Version(s)

graphql-core >= 3.3.0a3, < 3.3.1
