What is CVE-2026-119701?

WPGraphQL versions prior to 2.24.1 are susceptible to a missing rate limiting vulnerability. This flaw permits unauthenticated attackers to exploit the sendPasswordResetEmail mutation, enabling them to send a single HTTP request with multiple aliases. By bypassing the batch_limit, attackers can saturate the email service's quota, preventing legitimate users from recovering their passwords. This vulnerability significantly compromises the password reset process and can lock users out of their accounts, making immediate mitigation necessary.

Affected Version(s)
