What is CVE-2026-119758?

The ERPNext OCR app for Frappe/ERPNext version 1.1.1 is susceptible to a path traversal vulnerability that permits any authenticated user to access arbitrary server files. This occurs through the exploitation of the whitelisted read_document method, where attackers can leverage client-controlled path arguments. Consequently, they may bypass Frappe's File doctype permission model to intrude into private uploads belonging to others or to issue arbitrary URL requests that connect to internal services and cloud metadata endpoints.

Affected Version(s)

erpnext_ocr 0 <= 1.1.1

Exploit Proof of Concept (PoC)

PoC code is written by security researchers to demonstrate the vulnerability can be exploited. PoC code is also a key component for weaponization which could lead to ransomware.
