Client Management Flaw in Keycloak Server by Red Hat
CVE-2026-120984
9.1CRITICAL
What is CVE-2026-120984?
A security flaw has been identified in the client management component of Keycloak server. This issue arises when clients are created or imported with authorization services activated; the internal session attribute utilized during setup fails to be adequately cleared. An authenticated attacker, given client management permissions, can exploit this vulnerability to bypass essential security protocols and upload a malicious JavaScript policy. This uploading leads to the execution of the injected script on the server during authorization requests, causing the potential execution of arbitrary code and jeopardizing the integrity of the entire system.
