What is CVE-2026-121390?

FreeRDP versions before 3.32.2, particularly built with the WITH_AAD=ON option, are susceptible to a reachable assertion due to inadequate validation in the ARM gateway response parser. This vulnerability allows for the acceptance of a malformed or missing 'redirectedServerCert' field, which leads to a null buffer being processed by the certificate parser. An attacker can exploit this by manipulating the user-selected gateway to return an inappropriate response, ultimately causing a crash in the client process.
