What is CVE-2026-121393?

FreeRDP versions prior to 3.32.2 are vulnerable to a denial of service attack that can be exploited by malicious RDP servers. An attacker can send specially crafted RemoteFX region rectangles to terminate client processes utilizing verbose WinPR assertions. This is achieved by manipulating a rectangle's coordinates and dimensions, which triggers a critical assertion failure in the message processing function, ultimately leading to the client crashing.
