What is CVE-2026-121402?

FreeRDP versions prior to 3.32.2 are vulnerable to a NULL pointer dereference. This occurs when malicious RDP servers send a zero-width RDPGFX ResetGraphics PDU. As a result, the resize operation in gdi_resize_ex fails, leaving the primary display null without terminating the session. Consequently, a subsequent bitmap update attempt leads to a crash in the xfreerdp client due to gdi_Bitmap_Paint. This vulnerability poses significant risks to users and can disrupt remote sessions.
