What is CVE-2026-121403?

FreeRDP versions prior to 3.32.2 are susceptible to a denial of service vulnerability caused by malformed DEVICE_IOREQUESTs. When a malicious RDP server sends a truncated IRP_MJ_CREATE request, it can cause the drive worker to fail silently. This leads to a scenario where additional requests are sent, ultimately accumulating in the IrpQueue and consuming excessive memory resources. As a result, this can result in a loss of session availability, impacting overall system performance and user experience.
