What is CVE-2026-121410?

FreeRDP versions before 3.32.2 are susceptible to a denial of service vulnerability related to the RDPGFX ALPHA WIRETOSURFACE_2 handler. This flaw occurs due to a failure to validate zero surface dimensions, allowing a malicious RDP server to transmit a specially crafted WIRETOSURFACE_2 Protocol Data Unit (PDU) with zero width and height. This can result in an assertion failure or division by zero, leading to an unexpected termination of the client session.
