What is CVE-2026-121412?

FreeRDP versions prior to 3.32.2 are affected by a vulnerability that allows for uncontrolled resource consumption within the proxy component. This weakness enables attackers to manipulate the length of DATA_FIRST messages and exploit intercepted DVC message reassembly. By sending continuous message fragments without completion, the attack can lead to excessive heap memory retention, thereby degrading service performance and potentially leading to denial of service for legitimate users.
