What is CVE-2026-121548?

The nnn file manager, developed by Jarun, exposes an OS command injection vulnerability within the togglex plugin. This flaw allows attackers to craft filenames that include double quotes and shell syntax, enabling the execution of arbitrary commands. When such a filename is processed, it can be passed to an sh -c script via the xargs command, executing malicious commands as the intended user. Users of nnn should ensure they are using a patched version to mitigate this risk.
