CVE-2026-121963
8.2HIGH
What is CVE-2026-121963?
FreeRDP versions prior to 3.32.2 contain a use-after-free vulnerability affecting the dynamic rdpsnd channel. This flaw enables malicious Remote Desktop Protocol (RDP) servers to exploit the vulnerability by delivering a training PDU and subsequently closing the channel. When this occurs, the playback thread may attempt to access a freed callback, resulting in a crash of the client application. This vulnerability underscores the importance of proper memory management in software communication protocols to prevent unauthorized access and potential denial of service.
