What is CVE-2026-12443?

A use after free vulnerability in the Web Authentication component of Google Chrome could permit remote attackers to execute arbitrary code on the impacted system. This issue arises due to improper memory management in the browser, which can be exploited via specially crafted HTML content. Users of Google Chrome versions earlier than 149.0.7827.155 are advised to upgrade to the latest version to mitigate potential risks associated with this vulnerability.
