What is CVE-2026-12444?

A vulnerability in Chromoting for Google Chrome on Windows prior to version 149.0.7827.155 enables local attackers to exploit an out of bounds read condition. This flaw allows unauthorized access to potentially sensitive information stored in process memory when an attacker executes a malicious file. Users are encouraged to update their browser to mitigate this risk.
