What is CVE-2026-124477?

OpenEMR versions prior to 8.3.0 are vulnerable to a missing authorization flaw that permits low-privileged authenticated users to delete any patient recall records. This occurs through unauthorized POST requests sent to /interface/main/messages/save.php. As a result, attackers can manipulate patient recall data without undergoing proper access control checks, posing a significant risk to patient integrity and confidentiality.
