What is CVE-2026-12502?
A vulnerability exists in Loytec's products, including the LIP-ME201C, due to improper privilege management in the /usr/bin/ltsudo command. An attacker within the superadmin group can exploit this vulnerability to reset the passwords of LARM users, including critical service accounts like larmapp, through the set-passwd subcommand. This flaw compromises user authentication and potentially leads to unauthorized access and manipulation of sensitive configurations.
