An authenticated attacker using the 'larmapp' account can exploit this flaw through a symlink attack targeting the server's SSL certificate file. This exploitation can modify the permissions of critical system files, such as making /etc/passwd writable for the 'larmapp' group, potentially allowing for unauthorized escalation of privileges to root.
