What is CVE-2026-13184?

The vulnerability in Progress® Telerik® UI for AJAX versions prior to v2026.2.708 allows for inadequate upload metadata integrity protection. When the Telerik.Upload.ConfigurationHashKey is not set and the machineKey is not explicitly configured, the system may revert to a predictable default key. This situation could allow malicious actors to forge protected upload metadata, potentially leading to further exploit chains and increased security risks within applications utilizing this component.
