What is CVE-2026-14668?

A type confusion vulnerability in PostgreSQL allows an object creator to access sensitive calculations from an arbitrary 4-byte memory span by inputting a non-ctid value. Although the precision of these calculations may be reduced, attackers could still recover significant memory values. This affects various PostgreSQL versions prior to 18.5, 17.11, 16.15, 15.19, and 14.24, highlighting the importance of upgrading to secure versions.
