What is CVE-2026-15518?

An unrestricted file upload vulnerability exists in the Area 17 Twill CMS in the Media Library's FileLibraryController functionality. The vulnerability is triggered through improper handling of the input parameter 'qqfilename' in the 'storeFile' method located in the src/Http/Controllers/Admin/FileLibraryController.php file. This flaw allows remote attackers to upload malicious files without any authentication, potentially compromising the integrity of the web application. Despite being made aware of the issue, the vendor has not provided an adequate response or patch.
