What is CVE-2026-15945?

An access control vulnerability exists within the administrative API of the Keycloak server, specifically related to the group search functionality. When Fine-Grained Admin Permissions v2 is activated, a delegated administrator can circumvent intended access restrictions, allowing them to view details about parent groups that they should not be able to access. The flaw arises when the system incorrectly reveals sensitive attributes and configurations of a parent group through responses triggered by searches in child groups that the administrator is authorized to view. This misconfiguration poses a risk of disclosing sensitive information that could lead to further security issues.
