What is CVE-2026-15973?

The LimeSurvey Community Edition version 7.0.5 is susceptible to a stored cross-site scripting vulnerability found in the Survey Menu Entries administration page. Authenticated users with read permissions for global settings can introduce malicious code by creating a survey menu entry that incorporates attacker-controlled data. This data is then stored in the surveymenu_entries.data field and can be rendered insecurely in an HTML title attribute, leading to potential exploitation.
