What is CVE-2026-16102?

A vulnerability exists in Keycloak's Dynamic Client Registration component that permits insufficient validation of claim paths related to User Property mappers. This flaw enables an attacker, possessing a standard user account along with an Initial Access Token, to manipulate access tokens to forge administrative roles. Consequently, this can empower the attacker to commandeer client entities, siphon sensitive information, and possibly achieve overarching administrative privileges within the realm.
