What is CVE-2026-17107?

A vulnerability exists in the service-proxy component of Red Hat Advanced Cluster Management for Kubernetes where impersonation group headers are appended to proxied requests without validating caller-supplied values. As a result, an authenticated hub principal can misuse the spoke ServiceAccount's unrestricted impersonation permissions, injecting an Impersonate-Group header that allows for escalation to cluster-admin rights across all managed clusters.
