What is CVE-2026-17511?

A vulnerability exists in the partition resource dump interface of IBM PowerVM Hypervisor that could allow an attacker with authenticated administrator-level access to the Hardware Management Console (HMC) or service processor to obtain a limited snapshot of the partition processor state. Successful exploitation of this flaw may result in a potential breach of confidentiality affecting the managed system.
